today i got some degreaser from AutoZone to clean my engine. i did as the instructions said, and let it soak for 20 mins. when i let it dry, it looked almost the same as it did before! so, how can i clean the motor to look like Silver's(because we all drool over how clean it is)? and what cleaners do i use

well i think he gets up first thing in the morning like 5am. scrubs it for about an hour , now you have to repeat this step , to get the drooling we all do about his motor, your right its so clean that you could cook eggs on the headers, and eat off the motor lol

You need to rinse the degreaser with water, it is a detergent, not like brake cleaner. Spray it down, scrub it, spray it down, scrub it, rinse.

I tried to clean mine...it cleaned a little but I was afraid I might break a seal on something. The steam scared the blank out of me!

Yeah I don't mess with mine that much. I'd like to have it clean like that but I'm afraid I will get water in the wires or something so I don't do too much to it.

i just pop my hood and powerwash mine off atleast once a month at the carwash.just watch where you spray. i have did this with every vehicle i have ever owned and no problems. if it gets real dirty i spray some tire cleaner on it,(westley's tire cleaner)then rinse it.once you get it clean you have to keep up on it or it will be dirty again in no time.
