starter motor wont turn over

If you are push starting it, I'm assuming you have a manual transmission. Have you checked the clutch pedal position switch? According to the wiring diagram for '01, that's about the only electrical device that would prevent you from starting. It sounds like you have replaced every thing else.

well i think thats fine cause i dont here the click from the starter relay unless i have the clutch pushed down far enough

I took some time to look at the '01 wiring diagram again. For a gasoline truck with manual trans, the coil for the Engine Starter Motor Relay is grounded at location G105. G105 is located at the power steering pump bracket. Do you have a good ground connection there? The ground wire from the relay coil is black w/white stripe according to the wiring diagram.

i didnt know what it was at 1st and when i took it too a garage they put it on for me. if a fuse isnt blowing then that isnt it

yeah all my grounds are good. i haven't had any problems since i took out the starter and the dust shield for the clutch to change my oil pan gasket

lastrights would you be able to take a look at your truck and see how they wired that starter relay bi-pass?

well it ended up being the wire that goigoes from the power distribution centre to the starter was just lose, thanx for your help guys
