hey, im going to get my self a new throttle body but im kinda stuck between two different ones either a

The Fastman ones seems to be a very popular mod. I haven't heard many people talk about the Hughes one.

I'm sure they probably perform pretty much the same, so price becomes the deciding factor, and the Fastman wins that easy.

+1 for what Silver said.

Even if the Hughes one is slightly better, its not worth the price difference. And I highly doubt its any better.

I'm pretty certain the general consensus on this site will be the fastman. It's a little more "tried and true" from what I can tell. I was planning on it for mine, but the mod bug really left me when gas prices soared and I haven't had it come back yet.

cant you just have a machine shop bore your holley tb out and make new butterflys for it? isn't that the cheapest?

Without knowing what your truck has in it i'm going to assume its pretty much stock. with that being said i would not go with the hughes engines stage 3 because its 55mm. thats too much for a stock motor. if your running a 5.2 i'd go with 50mm and if your running a 5.9 i'd go with a 52mm.
