This subject always starts a pissing match.. it boils down to the fact that some people have issues running 15" wheels, some don't.

My 01 fits 15" wheels just fine, however it is pretty tight between the caliper and the wheel. I'm running a 15x8 wheel with 3.75 BS and a 35x12.50 tire.

ive got a 95' 2500 ram, any idea if it would fit mine, i guess i could buy em and toss them on and see, i hope they do cuz tires are much cheaper with a 15 inch rim than a 16 inch rim

You have a 2500? I highly doubt it.

Yes and Yes.
O got 15" rims with 35" BFG and they are 12.5 inches wide.
Rims are 8" wide.
I had this setup for 150000 miles - no problem

For the most part, running a 15" wheel will require steel wheels, the welds for steel are smaller and that is where a good amount of the issue with caliper clearance starts. Aluminum welds are usually much larger/bubblier and cause problems. 15" steel wheels SHOULD work in MOST cases. Aluminum for the same strength as a steel wheel also requires the aluminum to be thicker, the outside, where the tire mounts has to be 15"s to be a 15" rim, and the inside of the rim is sometimes significantly smaller and will not allow clearance either.
