^^ I know you were joking.

Are you going to be around today? I'll snap a pic of the passenger's side when I get started and post it up. It's almost 9am here, and my part won't be in until 10/10:30, so I'm looking at almost 11:30 before I can get started. If you check back from time-to-time that would be great.

Yea I'll be around, take a couple good pics of the left side after you get it back together also. Before you take the right side apart. And you better answer my ? about the length of the linings.LOL Because if they are all the same , that's not right.

I checked and I see that linings are different sizes. WHEW!

This makes me wish I had my VW Super Beetle running because being down to one vehicle sucks donkey *****.

Anyway, here are pics of the passenger side. Looks like I need to recycle springs for the pins that hold the shoes as the kit only comes with one blue spring.

I'd say the kit is missing stuff then. Check another kit when you go to the parts store.

And what kind of VW do you have? I use one during the week to travel to jobsite in Mass.(160 miles round trip each day) because it gets close to 35 mpg (95 Cabrio 5 speed). And I have a ? you might be able to help me with.

If those are pics from the right side, the shoes are installed wrong. The shoe with the longer lining need to be facing the rear. When you get done with this and everything is installed right, you are going to notice a great improvement with your brakes.

Yes, they are the passenger side and I figured that stopping will be quite different. Still haven't made it to the parts store yet. My friend did some heavy drinking last night and hasn't gotten it in gear yet.
