i havea 97 2500 5.9 gasser and here the past couple of days when i use my bright lights they will start kicking on and off just the brights when i switch it to dim they work fine but brights blink the dash lights stay on and all that but the bright lights blink on and off what do u think this could be just started yesterday?

 

Is it both bulbs that blink on-off for highs, or just one? If just one, try replacing the bulb. Sometimes one filament can fail but not the other (they are dual filament bulbs).

Loose wire, bad dimmer switch, would be my two guesses if they both blink. I'd probably say more likely the dimmer switch.

 

when i turn my high beams on my fog lights come on too and they all go off when it blinks where is the dimmer switch located and how hard is it to change and u dont think it would be the headlight switch do ya?
