Try using a mother's power ball with rubbing compound. Works great.

i would say that after polishing my 1995 headlights it was about 18 months before they were noticeably yellow again

friend used turtle wax rubbing compound and had to dip down to 400 grit to get it out. Use polishing compound

i did something similar, but used a dremel tool, the smaller buffer attachment, and some rubbing compound. it cleans up the plastic and removes the cloudinesss the same as in the pictures in the link above. it makes it look better, however - the only problem - is that the headlights still suck even when the cover is clear.

I always hear of people saying that about dodges, but honestly I feel my trucks headlights shine better than anything I have ever driven... even with the little bit of cloudiness. Maybe its cause I have the sport headlights? Aren't they much better than the non sport lights?

On a side note, if you want awful headlights, try driving a grand prix at night (the older style anyway, 99ish). No doubt the worst headlights I have ever seen.

if you own something like a porter cable random orbit sander, you can knock it out lickety-split, but i suggest you remove the headlights if you go that route.
