Exactly. What applies to a 1500 truck transmission still applies to the all mighty V10 transmission.

"v10 owner" Replace your governor pressure solenoid and sensor.

my v10's tranny was acting alittle funny this year as well would sometimes not go into gear then just pop in and chirp the tires, it was also sluggish feeling i changed the fluid and the filter and it feels much better.

Isn't the V10 auto the same as the diesel auto?

yes the v10 shares the diesel drivetrain.
