Default Homemade Level kit

So I was curious since I couldn't find any info on it. But, can I just put lift springs in place of the stock coils to level my 2500 out? I dont think I need a trac-bar or radius arms, right?

Again! No info about the truck except it's a 2500. What about springs for a v-10 or cummins? And what is a lift spring? Are you talking about coil over shocks? And as far as the replies you got, they were right on target. Plus the thread topic is misleading. Replacing the coils with longer ones is not Homemade.

yeah..if your just looking for a leveling kit and not a lift kit, why go with new springs or w/e you have in mind, im a little confused, i have a 2.5" leveling kit on my truck, and it looks great, i say buy one for $80 install it and move on to your next project, this is literally a job that takes an hour tops, if you could post more truck info and maybe a link or pick of what your talking about it would help us get a better understanding of what your thinking of doing. thanks good luck

Im just looking at replacing with springs that are better then OEM. I just have never been a fan up lift blocks and coil spacers... So springs are what I'm interested in. Kore makes a level kit that is springs but they want 400 for it and all it is, is springs and shocks. Thats all.

oh ok, yeah i just looked at a kit that is springs too and they wanted $400, i guess if you want to go that route, you could make your own homemade kit, post pics if you decide to do so. i would find a kit that you want and call up the company and ask for diagrams and blue prints of the part that way you make your own correctly
