hey guys, kind of new with big trucks and wheeling so i want to know if there is anything i should take care of before going into some big puddles(mud), i know i cant go in anything deeper than my intake but i was wondering about everything below the doors on my truck, few guys i hang out with said something like the trans has breather holes and water could get into them, any help would be appreciated, thanks

there are breather ports and hoses in the front and rear diffs that are supposed to stick up a couple feet, but none on t-case or transmission that i know of.

i draw the line at the bumper. if its deeper than that, your f**king up. be aware that water can get past the seals on the front and rear diffs. you'll need to drain and replace those fluids regularly if you get up over the seals. water will show up a milky white fluid. i get a little bit in past mine.
