lost my brakes and my poower steering
I lost my brakes and my poower steering i put a new power steering pump on it and a hydraulic brake booster and it still did not fix it can you help thank you 1999 Dodge 3/4 ton 4+4 Diesel
that's strange, they have fully separate circuits... what happened in the first place, did they fail at the same time?
Your brakes are working with vacuum, check the vacuum hose that goes to the brake booster. Also if you changed the brake master cylinder then you'll have to bleed the brakes to eliminate all air from the system.
For the p/s pump, the accessory belt is installed? enough fluid in the pump? Does the wheel of the pump turn when you start your engine?
I'm just guessing, give us a little more facts about what happened before and what you actually did to try to fix it.
