Red face Custom Light switches

Has anyone make a custom light switches before? I have PIAA loghts for fog (1 switch), 2 sets of off road lights (2 switches) and backup lights (1 switch). SO 4 switches all together...I could just make a panel and put it somewhere on the dash but I think it would be cool to have it on the steering wheel...any experience on this out there?

I just use my high beam toggle w/ a custom harness I built. I can also use a 4 channel remote to control my lights.

I don't think there would be enough room on the back side of the steering wheel cover... I'm not looking at it right now but I don't think there is... The best place to put them would be under the steering wheel on the dash or maybe even on the pillar or make a nice box and put them on the ceiling Just a thought

Just use this. I velcro'd the remote to the drivers side of my steering column.

I mounted all my switches to a "project box" from RadioShack. Used some split-tube wire loom stuff to bundle/hide the wires, and attached that to the dash on the left side of the steering wheel. Looks pretty good...

Here is what I'm talking about:

If you want a custom made panel... you could also check out:

Not sure I would mess with the steering wheel... with the airbags being there an all...

Good luck!

You could ge a floor console from a 5-speed. Get the custom made panels and mount them in the square hole where the shifter goes through. With the 5-speed consloe you also get 2 extra cup holders.

Yea...I'd like to still have it mounted to the steering wheel but I see the possible problems...hmm decisions!

Purple do you have an image or link for your suggestion?
