overdrive shift down
I drive a 97 2500 ram and have noticed that when driving in over drive or with the overdrive off that i can touch the break peddle (only enough for the break lite to come on ) that it will shift down 1 gear is that normal?

sometimes it useful to unlock the torque converter for just a bit more hill climbing ability
if you are in cruise control
you can also unlock the torque converter clutch
by ever so quickly depressing and letting back up
the 'coast' button of the cruise control
