I cleaned the terminals to the ECM with electrical cleaner. I cleaned both feamle and male very carefully. I am into electronics. My alternator is fine. I had it tested yesterday. My guage package works too.

Tried to take back the 2 month old battery with 3 year warranty to Advance Auto Parts in Pensacola. They said its good and will not take it back.
Also said my alternator is bad but I know its not that. Its not 2 years old yet. 14v output.
they did not test it just know it all.

I suppose there could be a problem in the harness but everything works. It is an 11 year old truck so problems could be anywhere, It has new O2 sensors, new cam sensor, new crank sensor. Went through no fire here a while back..new ECM after replacing those myself on advise from here. Now they are new anyhow. New igintion everything.

Its running fine on yet another new battery exactly the same from Advance, its the closest store. Now I have two, runs with one but not the one they will not take back.

I spend 100's if not 1000's there. No more, I will drive further. 115.23 for that battery.
Sorry, I am pissed at Advance. Hour round trip for nothing. If I want to return it under warranty I should be able to return it. Not at Advance auto Parts Pensacola.
When they sold it to me me they said bring the old one back no problem. Do that and now its a problem.

maybe when the pcm is replaced, dodge may have to reprogram it with thier actuall dodge computer programer. maybe when it comes to larger problems such as this one, maybe it would be more wise to actually take it to a dodge dealer where they can actually have better odds in the diag. thats my advice, but im a firm believer in using factory parts cause i know there are some pretty crappy aftermarket parts out there, who knows, dodges are so tempermental, that perhaps the battery isnt like the recomended battey, just a little bit to where it will actually cause a pcm problem

I bought the ECM after a conversation with my Dodge guy here. The Mopar ECM coming is from Dodge and programmed to the VIN and the mileage I photoed and sent him.
I am getting an OEM ECM, PCM, ECU, computer. The one in it now is aftermarket and programmed by that shop that had to tow it 4 or 5 times.

It may be rebuilt but it has one year warranty and will be programed for my specific truck.
