got it all back together tonight and its to late and i'm to scared to start it haha i will get her going tomorrow morning though... anticipating it leaking... grr

clutch fan is a real pita to get off. i feel your pain.been there done that. i changed to the e-fan setup. cut a 2x4 and wedged it in there, and had to walk away once.didnt think i was going to get it off.

did you do the 180 stat?

ya i got the thermostat... it just looks like a bitch to get in so i'm not gonna mess with it. lol i've got the receipt so i will probably take it back.

i'm gonna look at it again when i go down to crank it up in a minute.

to remove that fan clutch just take the correct wrench and smack it with a hammer several times and it will break free

I've removed 3 Magnum engine fan clutches and didn't have any problem.

It's not a problem when you have a impact hammer haha

turns out i need a new heater hose... at least the part that goes into the pump... turns out i damaged it when i yanked it out of the old one. I can't get it to seal properly, at least the water pump is on there really good now.

had to use some KY to get the upper inlet hose onto the pump lol

i was told by a mechanic that if you change your water pump you should also change the fan clutch at the same time. I dont know if he was right or not, just thought i would throw his 2 cents in.

i have seen many posts on clutch fan removal,and this is the first time i have seen someone say it was easy. you must be a hulk,or super lucky.
