Default identifying front axle
Hey guys,

I need help identifying my front axle on my 1999 dodge ram 4x4,is their any easy way to tell if it is a 44 or 60?

Look at the housing and look fo a tag attached to one of bolts or just look at the bolt pattern and match how it looks to theses pics.

1500 has dana 44 in front. 2500/3500 has dana 60.

x2. Mine also has a sticker inside the glove box that has the info. on it.
