When I ran the open air cleaner during the past two winters, I never had a problem. I just swaped back to stock to try to locate my exhaust leak after the header install ordeal (that open air cleaner is much louder).

I replaced the O2 sensor and gave it a fresh tune-up. Also gave it some seafoam and reset the computer. Everything seems to be doing ok as the check engine light has not come back on as of yet. To be honest I dont know what helped the most but something or everything combined seem to really help as it seems to be running better. Hopefully this has cured my problems. I also love the look of the 14x3 round air cleaner, it looks great!!
will take some pictures.

The tuneup and the o2 probably did you in, but not so much the seafoam. Tune-up never hurts and im glad that the o2 was the culprit. Put some more miles on, and let us know if the light comes back. Glad you got her running great so far.

No, its running great! Thanks for all the help. Little pain getting to the plug to change that O2 sensor with my big hands but not to bad. That oil pressure sending unit really was a pain though!!
Thanks, Kevin
By the way, You sure can hear that thing sucking air!!!
