Default work on my truck yesterday

had to buy a new brake disk. i wanted to change my brake pads bhut discovered my brake disk had some nasty scratches. no one would turn it so i bought a new one!

you should replace both sides at the same time.

last time i did mine,my pads had heat cracks in them.

the driver's side brake pads were worn out, and on the passenger's side the break pads were not worn out at all. it was as if i was stopping on one side only. besides i saw the brake disk almost as thick as the new one so i decided to leave it, besides i dont have money

if one sides wore more than the other it sounds like you might have a cliper stickin'.

your piston is frozen. You need a new caliper or your going to do the same thing to the new stuff.

Yup. Rebuild your Calipers or you are wasting your money with the new disc. My 01's lasted for about 7 years before they needed to be rebuilt.
