air in the cooling system.

air collects in the heater core because that's the high spot. its normal to have some air after a coolant refill or flush, but it should work itself out after a few days. if not, then you're leaking coolant and sucking air somewhere...

A common problem. I jacked the front end up as high as my 3 ton jack would go, removed radiator cap, warmed engine up and squeezed top radiator hose until no mare air came out. Put rad. cap on, no more gurgle. Same thing can be done by parking headed up hill.

just put the passenger wheel up on a curb. no need to go searching for the perfect hill.
