msd 6a box

Default msd 6a box

hey was wondering if anyone ran a msd 6a box too, any performance from it , i have ngk iridiums, msd 8.5 wires , and msd blaster coil . all i need now is the box, but if it isnt going to do much i rather do another mod.

i have put the msd boxes on 3 different vehicles and never noticed any performance gains. thought i was crazy.thats why i did it 3 different times.i wont be putting one on this one.


dammit,spend your money on those headers on e-bay,so i will know if they are any good.lol

I noticed the truck idles a bit smoother and "might" accelerate a little, tiny, itty-bitty bit faster. I bought the box primarily because RM_Indy claimed the stock ignition system was less than ideal in the high RPM's, and by Jebus, I was gonna make me a racing truck on a $200 mod, LOL! I think it might have been a waste in all honesty.

$140.00 headers FTW!!!!! You'll notice it on the highway at least, even if they only last a year!
