Its just an Isolation point.

well i just tried it. and holy crap. it worked. the other two that have them are the two airbag fuses. i checked those too. and they are fine. but it all works now. thanks

might be a fusible link on the initial wiring... if so they are usually located in the first 12" from the positive battery connector. Use a simple volt meter or better yet dust off that voltage probe and see which one is receiving voltage. Then re bridge wire until a replacement falls into plan. Fusible links are used to burn out before your wiring harness catches your truck on fire. Kinda like what a breaker does without the handy switch.
