So I noticed an antifreeze smell through my vents today and saw the windos were foggin up a lot more and an antifreeze puddle on the passenger floorboards. is this the heater core? also how hard is something like this to change out?

 

its definatly your heater core mine did the same thing. . . . do not drive the truck unless it is completely nessesary theres is fume coming out of your vents from the antifreeze and they are extremely toxic, i just brought mine to the mechanic you have to pull your dash back to get to the heater core and it took him 8 hours

 

damn. what did that cost ya?

 

400 bucks or sumwhere around that there is guys on here that have done it themselves if you do i recommend a flush

 

sounds good. thanks a lot. i will call up a mechanic in the morning. ive got school and all this bs goin on so i have no time for my truck. also hooked up to a 6.0L chev and twisted off one of my front u joints. time to quit screwing off i think.
