had same problem w/99 dodge ram diesel . pulled pan to check gov etc, & found kick down band end link in pan w/broken out sides. pulled valve body and replaced it .trans works great. alan 99 diesel.

alan, same here but took trans out and did rebuild. found additional items that were on the way out. Now like new.
