Default Smart Blend - MonteC

I just wanted to publicly thank MonteC for recommending that I use the red Smart Blend transmission additive to try to treat my problems with slipping from 1-2 and occasionally hunting for gears between 2 and 3. It IMMEDIATELY stopped doing that after adding it. I'm not exaggerating. I've never had an additive of any type actually work as billed like this, and certainly not immediately.

I've only been on this forum for a short time, but I can already see how beneficial Monte's knowledge and willingness to contribute is. I read every tranmission thread that I see just to learn from what he says.

Thanks a lot Monte.

Chris

So all the hoop-la about not putting additives in these trannies is false?

+1... I added a bottle to my trunk and the wife's work van ( Ford E-350 auto 125,000mi Mobile grooming van )... neither truck nor van was slipping or had shifting problems, but read it helps even good trans stay that way..
My wife was impressed with how smooth the van shifts now... I noticed a difference in my truck too it not only shifts smoother but also less lag between shifts... I am very happy with the SmartBlend so far...
the real test for me will be how long this transmission performance boost last...

Thanks MonteC for the recommendation...

How did it help your tranny by putting it in your trunk?

Not just any additive. SMARTBLEND.

The other transmission fixes in a bottle are crap. Smartblend is a true additive, this stuff was actually engineered and formulated, not just brake fluid in a bottle like the others.
