If that truck's been plowing, the only thing you will be buying with that money is a new transmission. (assuming its an automatic)
I must have gotten the one and only decent transmission Dodge built.....knocking on wood. I know my luck will probably run out at the worst possible time though, ie, during a typical lake effect dumping.
Been doing some serious pushing with my '96, going into my 8th season with this set-up.
140,000+ on the clock now, had 65ish when the plow was installed. Original trans, changed filter, adjusted bands and flushed once at 95,000. Otherwise just maintained the fluid level and never had any issues.
Plow has paid for it's self 2 times over, plus the repairs for the expected worn out front end parts...track bar, u-joints, etc. The rust is really starting to pop everwhere, as expected for a rust belt winter worker....oh well...not as pretty as she used to be, but sure gets the job done.
