can anyone I.D. this bed lowering kit ?
a friend of mine found this truck and took pictures. he's from Toronto Canada.
it says "Power Bed" on the rear spare tire cover but no information can be found of this kit online.
here is his message & pictures:
I came across this 'uniquely modified' Dodge Ram pick up truck by chance the other day and I have not been able to determine any info about it.
As shown in the two attached photos, the box of this truck can be lowered right to ground level, providing a pretty convenient way to load and unload - or even to position the box at various heights to facilitate loading/unloading to raised site requirements.
Now, the interesting construction of this vehicle would involve two independent frame 'arms', extending back from the cab area to support each rear wheel. Quite a structural feat.
Anyway, I am quite curious as to where it was made and other details of its construction an functionality? Any one seen this type of vehicle?

lol i came across this just as you did i guess, but the only way you would be able to do that is fully custom.....the truck would have to be 4x4 and the rear axle taken out and replaced with somethin els?!? and you would have to drive on the front axle, thats the only thing i can think of....also try posting this in the 2nd gen forum they might know more possibly
