I am thinking about saving my pennies for one of these...a much better design than the kegger and no more worry about a plenum gasket ever!

Anyone have one?

 

Don't know, but I would like some first hand info as well. By the time you buy a Hughes plenum repair kit and spend all the time modding the stock kegger to work decent, this may just be a dang good deal (as long as it works well).

if that's the m1 intake manifold, and i think it is ( it just look diff to me).. you lose bottom end power on a stock motor... that if it the same manifold i'm thinking of.

 

i would say the same thing. i think it will move your power higher in the rpm's. somebody with more knowledge than me will chime in though.

 

I had something just like that on my old 69 Chevy PU with 350-4bbl. I hated it because you had to wind up the engine to get the truck to move. No torque at all. Still up in my attic somewhere.

The only thing that I dislike about the one I posted is that it lists the basic operating range at 2K-6K RPMs. The M1 on Summit is also listed as a carb'd intake instead of fuel-injected.

It looks good but on the mopar site they warn that you might have hood clearance problems on a stock hood

do they have a dual plane fuel injected? I am told those create better torque than the single if so do you have the part number haven't been able to find.

 

Wickedwiggles: I don't think Summit offers a dual-plane fuel-injected...only carb.

Laramie1997: I will check through that site. Summit lists it as a direct-replacement for the magnums, so I was thinking it should be okay, but I will check...thanks for the link.
