Since you effectively get a higher lift cam with the HS 1.7s, I would pick those over the headers. Also, the push rod holes in the factory head gasket will help you get everything aligned when you need two hands.

are the pacesetters coated inside and out?

the harland website is the cheapest i could find on the rockers. 349$ + ?shipping not to many carry them. shipping shouldnt be to bad since they are in ohio too. like one of the first times something hasnt been in california.

summit 375$ +11.75 shipping.located in ohio

mancini racing 368$ + ?shipping located in michigan

I think Squirrels knows the cheapest place to get them. SE Chrysler or something. Not sure.

southeast performance r/t or whatever the website is, give them a ring. Silver suggests them all the time for rockers. To answer your other question, no, the pacesetters are not coated on the inside.

Talk to John Mercedes. He is the guy who designed the HS rockers for Magnum engines.

With the current economy, I think you'd be better off putting that bonus in the bank rather then buying headers. Just my opinion.

yeh, silver i hear yeh. i am a coal miner and our company is doing very, very well. so i am pretty sure i donnt have to worry. but you never know. and i have a nice nest egg already in place. enough to live for a few yrs.i have worked 70+ hours a week for the past few yrs. i mean i have worked over 3500 hrs just this year.i just donnt dip into the nest egg for things like this. and wifes a drug rehab nurse. but i definitly understand your point. i am not rich or anything, and not trying to brag, but have always planned for my families well being.
