I have heard this could happen, but never known anyone it happened to...my Dad needs a new wheel bearing/hub on his '02 1500...the shop told him it wasn't dangerous yet...hope they're right.

Jack up the truck, get a good grip on the back of the tire, and see how much play there is. If there is a lil bit(of play), you could go a lil longer. If there is a lot of play, you need to change them ASAP.

obviously mine came solid off at 65 scary shizz warped my hood, fender door all the nine yards...it will be fixed in a couple of weeks tho...and i didnt take no pics i didnt have a camera handy it had to be roll backed to the garage...
