Default quick question about tire/wheels

I have gotten a great deal on a set of wheels and tires, just worndering if they will fit before I buy them. They have came off a 04 ram 4x4 1500 wheels are stock aluminum 5spoke 17's with 33x12.5 MT baja claws. I have the 285 75 16's now and do have alittle rubbing when cut to full lock both sides.. I know I will have rubbing issues with them but will it be unbearable to drive, my truck is a 99 1500 ram 4x4 stock supension..

thanks
Evan

The question shouldnt be "will it be unbearable to drive?", but "what damage could happen with it rubbing too much?".

just wanted to know if they would rub too much to fool with or not. Later on this spring im getting a 5" rough country lift for it. As of right now, I drive my truck everyday and didnt want to mess anything up. I can live with not cutting the wheels to full lock. I dont want to cut out for the tires to clear the front bumper. thats what im really affraid of..

Well mostly you could rip out the inner fender wall if they rub too much. All it takes is for one of the lugs on the tires to grab on and you can kiss the inner fender wall good bye.

unless the tires you have now are part of the deal, or you plan on even bigger tires and wheels, then I would say buy them and hold on to them for when you get the lift.

well got the wheels and tires on the MT baja claws on the 17" 04 ram wheels, and man do they look sweet, they rub about like the 285's i had on did. It surprised me, I'll get some pics up tomorrow and show you guys, 33x12.5x17 will clear stock 4x4 supension, atleast it did on my ram and only have 350 bucks in everything

Sounds like ya got lucky. I'd check the inner fender wall from time to time to make sure you haven't pulled anything loose. JMO. Good deal for 350.
