Default Mopar Fog Light Harness

Has anybody installed the Mopar fog light kit, or just the wiring harness? How hard is i to do?
Im thinking about getting the harness from the dealer, and the switch from the junkyard.
The harness is about $56 from my dealer, and the switch is $5 from my junkyard.
Thanks.

Why not grab the harness from the junkyard as well? Save yourself some money.

Are you sure it's not already wired and you just need to do the switch and the fuses and relay?

Dont even bother with the factory fog lights, harness, or switch. All of it is a pathetic joke.

Go get yourself a good pair of fogs (blazer projectors if you can find them), and a nice switch.

Shouldn't cost you more than $50, and you'll have the peace of mind knowing your electrical system isn't always on the verge of combustion.

The only thing my headlight switch does, is power two relays. One of which lights my headlights, the other powers my light control box.

+1 That's what I did, even though I think my 98 already has the harness in place. I think some years had the fogs in the HL switch and some had a seperate switch.

Now that I think of it, some years had them mounted in the plate next to the passenger air bag lite and key, IIRC. Thats what gave me the idea to mount my switch there.

my truck has the harness already equipped, you might check and make sure you don't already have it.

I think it was 98+ that had the fog/headlight switch combo. 97- had a separate switch over yonder by the airbag control.

You don't want fog lights to be bright. If anything, you want them to be selective yellow.

Fog lights are designed to work when your headlights are OFF.
