Default Factory Running Boards

Hello All. Let me start by saying I am new here and after many years of wanting a Dodge Ram, I have finally gotten one. I have a 1997 Ram 1500 4x4 Laramie with the Magnum 5.9L. It seems to be in good mechanical condition and appears to have been taken care of well. The question I have is about the factory fiberglass running boards(or are they). They are beginning to show some age cracks in the area where they turn from running board/moulding into fender flare. I would like to find a new set to install before these fall apart. The truck will never see any major off roading so I am not concerned about needing more durable metal steps and would rather stick to the type I have so I can keep the lines that the truck came with (even if my wife says it looks like an old mans truck).
Can anyone tell me who made these fiberglass running boards for Dodge?

Call the dealer and get a build sheet and see if they are factory or dealer installed first. If not, there are numerous companies that make them, and the first one that comes to mind is Lund. Maybe you can look on the bottom side of them and see if by any chance there is a sticker still there or some #'s some where.

And BTW! Welcome to the Forum.

The paper-thin looking flares that dont flow w/ the body lines make it look stupid.

Unfortunately I checked the bottom of the running boards and found no sign of the manufacturer. I can say for certain that they look just like the ones on jmhai's awesome red signature series truck.
I do not think they make it look like an old fart truck, sure they do not give the truck that rugged off road look but I like the lines.
Thanks to you guys for the response.
