Chain-1, Dodge-0
Well long story short, it was -9 here today when I woke up, none of our equipment at work was starting up so I was pulling some things around with my dodge when the chain I was using snapped, taking out my e-brake cables and brake lines. I went to replace the lines and realized that the backing plates for the drums were rotated 180 degress (upside down on the axle).
I'm going to tear into them tomorrow after I get my trailer loaded in the morning but was wondering what held those plates on (IE what am I going to need replace besides all the hardware, springs, and shoes, etc to get things back together).
Thanks
Jerrod

That sucks man, but it could be worse.... We had a real good dose of freezing rain here and since I live in the country the roads were solid ice. There was an older lady in a ford taurus this morning stuck at the bottom of two hills. long story short, I hooked my tow strap to my truck and she attached her end to her front axle (or so I thought) she messed up and attached it to her bumper. So when I took off it tore the whole front end off of her car. thank god she hooked her end to the car and not me.
