ok so i just removed the exhaust manifolds{why do they use two studs in the middle instead of all bolts? - all bolts came out fine, the studs w/ nuts is a different story broke both off the pass. side..oh well}

removed the 02 sensors and rear exhaust {cat back} looks like i can support the tranny remove the tranny suppoprt and slide the manifolds with the cat attached out{ anyone have sucess with this because of course the bolts and nuts that hold the manifold to the cat are all rusted out thought i may have better luck getting them out with the system removed

i will be replacing the plenum gasket. seems like the engine ran better once the manifolds were off... talk about loud! will try a test drive tomorrow if i can remove the manifolds and cat....hopefully this will work ..i dont have the money to fix the plenum/cat much less anything else

 

so i ordered the magnaflow cat and the plenum kit from aps----

Replace the spark plugs and put plenty of Techron + in the gas after you are done to remove all the carbon on the valves.

Oh! And truckless now sucks but you'll be happy later!
