i am currently in the process of having my motor and trans rebuilt in my 98 dodge 318. i dont know how to tell what trans i have but i kno i wouldnt mind having alittle bit better and harder shifts. just for the fact of in the mud, it is bad have an unexpected shift and loss half your power. what shift kits are avalible for these trucks and which ones work, and any prices would be good... alot if it is something i can do or if i have to send it in to be put in.

P.S. I also plan on putting a trans cooler on this one so i dont burn it up as easy

any further info on this, cause the site i went to says that the hd goes to the 3rd gen trucks... i am lost, i really knon almost nothing about trans other then the basic stuff
