Ok, my stock intake has a huge crack in it and i need to replace it. I was wondering if i should go for a CAI or just buy a replacement stock air box. I heard that by putting a cold air intake on you lose torque but gain hp so i'm not sure if it's worth the loss. If i do get a cai i was looking at volant and airaid. Which one is better? K&N lost my vote because a friend of mine got one and it did not come with all the hardware and they exaggerate their hp gains way to much. Also, do they make a dashboard moniter for the 2nd gen rams??

 

Do a search on here for CAI's and you will see this topic discussed MANY of times and they all have some good information for you. Just wanted to give ya a heads up before someone blows up on ya for asking this question
