Heres the thing trucks a 96 with power locks,taking the lock solenoid out,to put new locks. Thing is when I went to put it back in the little arm that turns the lock (purple tab) goes on but theres nothing to keep it on with. I checked my other door but It comes out of a different model and instead of the metal arm it has an electric one and a plastic tab made on the wires. My driver door doesnt look anything like the passenger. Cant remember dropping anything and cant find it either,can anyone help me out?Maybe a small metal clamp,anyway I can get it short of a junk yard trip.

 

So,has anyone changed their door locks here?

 

Has no one run into this problem with their door locks.Surely someone out of the thousands of members here has had this problem.Im avid on trying to get this done because this is the only thing that stands between getting my truck on the road.
