Default 4 wheel drive light goes on and off

I put it in 4 wheel drive a few weeks ago to drive on ice... anyway i took it out and later had to put it back in 4 wheel. But now that it is out of four wheel drive the light goes on and off.

If i am stoped it stops and the faster i go the faster it blinks until i get up to speed then it goes on and off when it wants. I will stay at a constant speed and it will turn off for awhile then come back for a while. as i slow down it blinks again until i stop.

Anyone have this problem

That's what mine did when I had a vacuum leak on one of the hoses that comes off the CAD. A search will give you lots of info and places to look for vacuum leaks.

First look for vacuum leaks and loose wires.

mine did that too.. i just kept driving.. it's not going to be in 4wd unless the transfer case is engauged... so i just kept driving and in about 3 days it stopped... there's also a sensor that can get dirty as well.. you be fine.. if it last longer than a week or 2 i'd get it checked
