What does Dodge call limited-slip?
Hello
Has anyone recently bought a new Ram with a limited slip rear differential? If so what was it called on the invoice? I had to call Dodge to find out of my '95 Ram (bought used) had a Trak Lok rear differential (since this is what Dodge calls it in their literature). The guy at the call center on the other side of the world had never heard of Trak Lok, but he said the computer says my truck has an "anti-spin differential rear axle." That sounds like limited slip or Trak Lok to me, but I just wanted to confirm, if anyone out there knows for sure.
Thanks!

It will say LS if it is , or corporate 9 1/4 if it isn't. You can also call your local dealer and give them the vin# and they will print out a build sheet. There are other places on stickers on the truck that will tell you, but I don't remember where.
And BTW! Not that it matters to you or anyone else for that matter, BUT , That's my last reply to anyone who does NOT post the info about there truck! 95 Ram tells everyone NOTHING!

Thank you for the reply, and sorry for the offense. It's a '95 Ram 1500 2WD long bed single cab with a 5.9L V8 and automatic transmission, about 81K miles. It's white with a bed liner, stock chromed steel wheels and Michelin tires. It has a stock cat converter with a Magnaflo muffler and split rear pipes. Mopar performance chip, MSD, and Airraid air intake. There are some parking lot dings on the sides and I haven't washed it in three years.
