Default Tire Help!!!

Hi everyone,
I have a 96 ram 2500 v10 with a 4 inch body lift. I currently have 35/12.5R16.5 BFG all terrains for shoes. I was wondering if it would be possibl e to upgrade the width to 14.5 inches? Will it work?
Thanks,
Dan

The only real way to tell is to do it, I am running 35x12.5 on a 15 inch rim and I have quite a bit of rub when I turn.

This could be fixed by spacers wich will destroy your wheel bearrings quicker or by cutting the wheel well out wich will cause rust problems in the future.

Just wondering, why do want such wide tires, also you need to check into the local laws, some state don't allow the tire to extend past teh wheel well so you may need larger flares.

Thanks so much for helping me out. I saw a set of 4 TSL mudders for a deal and was wondering if theyd be able to fit on my ram. Looks like il just stick with the 12.5. Thanks again.

Im not sayiong dont do it, just save the old tires if you have to much rub and dotn want to cut up your wheel wells. Also you could add more lift to get them to fit as well.
