volt gauge reading?

Default volt gauge reading?

My truck always reads higher than 14 volts... is this normal?

How much higher? If it's a lot I would have it checked with a test meter. Free at auto-zone or oreilly's.

i looked but can't find it.... but i think 14.5 is nomal, said haynes...if i find it i will edit it later

Are you talking about when it is running?....Mine always is 13-14 at idle.

Mines like 16... its higher than 14 anyway... 1/2 between 14 and the high reading.... 18 or whatever.

mines up around 15ish. its normal.
