Why don't you put lights behind the grille, AND in the bumper? They are driving lights after all, not fog lights. I mounted my driving lights in my bumper using two pieces of flat bar on either side, bolted together, then sandwiched under the bumper bolt. Again, no drilling required.

According to you, "Fog Lights" do not exist.

I'm sorry but..... you have got to be kidding me! Take some pride in your work and fab up some kind of brackets or something a lil more permenant.

Wiring should have correct terminals, soldered and have shrink tubing.

This thread should be labled as how NOT to install lights.

Read the title. I don't have fogs and got them as fogs for my truck.

First thing i did was try to put them in the slots in my bumper but they are too big. Took my truck out last night and went camping and they worked fine.. just a little shaky =] I need info on how to mount them using the thing metal trips or whatever. And this isn't called how to install lights at all... this is just showing my creativity. Got the lights at advanced auto parts for 25... saw the same exact ones at wal mart for 18. go figure.

the previous owner hit a stump on the passenger side and did not get the bumper fixed because he was going to do it himself but he is lazy.

You have the plastic piece in the bumper, I do not. There is plenty of room behind that bumper to fab up a way to mount them if you really wanted to take the time.
