Read the title. I don't have fogs and got them as fogs for my truck.
No, they are not fog lights. Fog lights have a diffused lens, or are a projector. Neither of which his lights have. They are driving lights. THESE are fog lights:

Hella 500

Hella 550

Note the diffused lens.

Here are the same Hella's in the driving beam. (Clear lens)

Fog lights do exist, but a good pair can rarely be found at an auto parts store.

I'm going out right now to root out a suspension problem I'm having. Ill take detailed pictures of my brackets for you. Here are some pictures that kinda show you for now:

What you are looking for on the upper lights are those black arms, and on the bottom, the white arms.

I made them. All they are are 1/8 inch flat stock I got at home depot, then bent and bolted together.

What I meant about the lights, is those little grilles on the front of the light should be cut off. They already sit behind your truck's grille, you don't need them, and will decrease light output further.

Can you get better pics of the mounts in the grille?

What is the diameter of the 500s?

If you look at the pic you will see that they are pretty much the same height as the headlights. If you measure your headlight height , that will answer that question.

But I already did it for you, because I'm sitting here looking at the front of mine in the garage! 6" And I would say the rectangle ones are about 8" x 3 1/2 or 3 3/4
