howdo i get the cel code of out the truck and where can i find them on the site. im sure they are on here somewhere i just cant find them

gotta sweet talk to it... whisper sweet nothings to it..then she will give it up....

99 and newer trucks you can do the key on key off key on 3 x (gotta do it quick) and it will produce a code.. not sure if you can on a 98 (nothing short of getting a code reader) maybe advanceautoparts still checks codes for free ? google is a wonderful search engine...

Advance Auto here still checks them for free. They tell you the code number itself and give you a basic explanation.

Attached to this post is a ZIP compressed Adobe PDF of OBD II codes that I found by doing the before said Google search.
