put up some new fog lights

You may very well have burned something up. Check the voltage coming out of the plug, and throughout the system. Replace the bulb if you have consistent voltage. If you have variations, start at the relay and work your way back to the switch.

Usually a dim headlight on one side is a shaky ground. Not always, but I'd start there...

I tryed doing what hella said which was to clip in the high and low beam wires and it didnt work so i took them off and i tryed shacking the head ligh cabel and nothing happend at all stayed the same high and low beam i think i need ne bulbs

That's because these trucks have a switched ground. Not a switched Positive. Hella's diagram is right for most vehicles, but wrong for these trucks.

so thats why it didnt work right. so about my headlight do u think cabel or bulb that need to be replaced its dim on high and low and it there a high and low beam bulb that. how do u change them i know the battery has to come on the driver side.

Dude, there is only one bulb for high and low beam. And the high beam is burned out.

Idk if its a sport or not. Sport's have 2 bulbs.

non sport 01 1500 and the light is dim on high and low beam

Dodge15004X45 did you use a relay switch?
I have the same Hella lights. They are super bright. I've been told I can weld metal with my Hella's, and you have four.
My god dude your gonna be mistaken for an aircraft landing.

I used my switch that was supplyed in the kit i did not use the relay it self cause it dose not work w dodges i have 2 fog and 2 driving not hooked up yet have to work on that tomorrow and replace my headlight bulbs shouldnt take more than 2-3hrs w some help from one of the payed guy from the station. and my light bar has work lights and alley lights as well i think i have enuff lights for now i thinking that im going to need a bigger altenator if i keep going.
