my one head light is dim i have been told to get new bulbs for it but i think that the cabel is shot or something like that. i have tryed shakeing the cabel but did nothing it is dim on the high and low beam. ohh and it the passenger side. my driver side works fine. the lens is not dirty. so light bulbs or cabel which one?????

 

I would say the bulb is going bad. The reason I say this is that I have never seen problems with the cables...not to say it can't happen. Sounds to me like that bulb is just getting weak and needs to be replaced soon. Go buy you a cheap replacement bulb and see if that works first...then go from there.
