Talking Buying my first Ram!!

Hello all, the name is Eric. I'm from the Mid-Hudson Valley NY. I'm buying my first Ram very shortly:

http://hudsonvalley.craigslist.org/ctd/965237294.html

What do you think?

I drove it, it feels good, everything seems to work. I've been looking at trucks and this one stood out to me. I love this color blue so I just can't resist. It's got 153k on the odometer and I'm getting it for $4500.

Been reading up on all the great info here and am looking forward to being a member of the Ram Forums community. Thanks!
~Eric

Looks like a nice pick, Eric.

Just a word of caution, and I'm not trying to throw a wet blanket over your trucklust, BUT: before you lay down the money, ask if you can have YOUR mechanic run a quick compression test on her. It could save you MUCH heartache in the future. Everyone on this forum knows this is a broken record with me

If she checks out, then drive into the sunset with confidence. If it does not, then you haven't lost anything.

I partially agree with Rex, but don't just get a compression test, get a trusted mechanic to give it a complete once over as well. Make sure she's in as good a shape as she looks, and unabused.

Good luck with her, I agree with the rest of you, its a sharp looking truck.
