Default Remote start in my 1500

I was going to put a remote starter/alarm in my truck this weekend. I have been going over the wire diagrams and I see that it says that i have to use a relay to hook a remote starter to the starter out put on the truck. I am very familiar with wiring car stereo's and such but I haven't done much with relays. In the manual for the alarm it has diagrams for all the other relays i need but nothing about the starter. So, does any one know how I should hook up the relay so the remote starter works.
thanks
ben

There is a starter relay in the PDC. (black box behind battery). You can download this if you need a wiring diagram. http://www.rm-indy.com/wavefiles/2001ramsrvcmanual.zip

wow thats awesome, thanks. one more question. It says that terminal 85 from the relay is a black/white wire that goes to the park/neutral position switch and the power train control module. What would I hook this up to in the cab? I'm assuming that this isn't the same black/white wire in the cab that functions as the ignition 2 wire. So what should I hook this up to? Should I run a wire out to the relay in the PDC? Sorry, if this is a stupid question, I just like to know exactly where every thing goes before I start a job so I don't screw anything up and blow up my truck.
thanks again

I never installed a remote start,so your best bet would be to check out the wiring diagram in the FSM. I don't want to give you bad info on New Years eve,LOL
