Default I shorted something?

I was installing my kc lites today(they were installed before but there was problems with the factory wiring to the lights).
I was just about done and looking for a hot wire and hooked the battery back up to probe for one.Well I found one and didnt take the time to disconnect the battery (just didnt think about it) and while putting a inline terminal in place I shorted the wire with the pliers on a ground.
The wire was running into the steering column and had a hot wire from my remote start hooked into it also. The wire is pink w/black stripe.
Now I have no power to my remote start or the following accessories:Blower motor,Power windows, one of the air bag fuses, abs, back up lights. There is no power to the hot side of any of these fuses while other on the fuse block do still have power.
There were several fuses in place but due to the location of my terminal it was above them all.Cant find anything in the haynes manual to help with tracing either.
Any help here would be great.
BTW I have check every fuse with a check light and all that have power to the hot side are functioning.I have found no blown fuses in the PDC either.

check the fuses very carefully, I've had them blow and barely crack before, not the gib burnt look that you might be used to.

you could have easily fried a relay and it wouldn't show visibly either. just pray you didn't fry the PCM.

electrical can be a bugger to get figured out, keep trying.

for the fuses I hit the tops with the test light so I know they are'nt getting power.
I have sawpped most all relays around with no luck either.
If the PCM got it ,cant I just replace it with one from a jnkyard? assume it would have to be programmed somehow.
Keep the suggestions coming.
Anyone know how to check the pcm?
any other diagnostic methods?
Thanks so far.

First of all they should be getting wired directly to the battery, even with a relay.

And the pink and black wire is the ignition switch. It goes to the starter relay and fuse #2 @30amps in the PDC. Does the truck still start?

Yeah truck starts and runs fine.
the power(30) for the relay comes right offf the battery. The power I shorted was for the switch(86) to relay.

I suppose it's possible the PDC board has a melted/burned solder connection.

OUCH!

Ok, if you shorted the pink/blk ignition wire, then you had to blow Fuse #2 (ign).

You also say your remote start system is connected to the pnk/blk and does not work either. I'm assuming that you cut into the pnk/blk wire downstream from your remote start tap?

Edit: Ok, you Fuse #2 must be good, otherwise you wouldn't be able to start the truck -- Duh. Maybe the surge went through your remote start system and did the damage. How is it wired?

maybe there is an inline fuse on the remote start? Are they still using fuseable links these days?

You and another poster above were correct. It was the #2 30a fuse.I had checked all the fuses with a check light but that fuse was one with a window you cant check with a light.
I went and puuled it out and when I did I could see the contact moving seperatly.
Thanks guys for the help all sytems are working now.
