Default Need Help, Seized motor removal

Hey everyone, I have a 97 Ram 1500 with a 318 and auto trans. The motor is seized and needs to be removed. My question is how do you get the torque converter bolts out when you can not turn the engine to access all of them ??

Thanks for any input,

Joe....

Just pull the transmission out. It will leave the TC on the flywheel. Then you should be able to access the TC bolts that way.

Or leave the tranny there and pull the motor, Carefully of course.

Did you try the old trick of pouring Tranny fluid into the cylinders and letting it soak overnight to unseize the engine?

Sometime it work, sometime it no work.
